I am a senior fullstack software engineer, based in Mataram, Indonesia and working remotely. I ship products end to end — the service, the schema, the deploy, and the screen someone actually touches. Go and Rust on one side, React and Flutter on the other, and I do not think of those as separate jobs.

The work has been unusually spread out. In the last few years I have shipped a decentralised exchange on Aptos, a teleconsultation platform connecting Indonesian patients to hospital doctors, and a correspondence system for a government that needs every signature to survive an audit. Those three share almost nothing — except that all of them break in the same place.

That place is the seam: where a system meets something it does not control. A chain that reorganises. A network that dies in the hour a flood map matters most. An auditor asking, two years later, who approved this and under whose delegation. None of it can be unit-tested. You design for it, or you find out in production.

So that is where the judgement goes — not into picking the framework, but into what happens when the thing outside the boundary misbehaves. I write about it here, and I maintain a few small open-source packages that came out of it. If you are working in that territory, email me.
