Surelintas is an office automation application that facilitates the digital correspondence process, including features such as letter archiving, status monitoring, and integration with other systems. This application is designed to increase paperless work efficiency in an organizational environment.
What I worked on
The product is electronic correspondence for Indonesian organisations: the letter, its number, who signed it, who it was disposed to, and where it ended up.
What I led was making that fit organisations that do not agree with each other. A ministry and a university both run on letters, but they number them differently, delegate differently, and answer to different rules about who may sign what. Building the thing for one client is a different job from building one a new organisation can be brought onto without a fork. The second is what we shipped, which meant the correspondence workflow had to become something you configure rather than something you code.
It went into service at Kementerian Keuangan and Universitas Terbuka among others. That is the only honest test of the claim: an organisation you did not design around adopting it anyway.
Notes
The hard requirement was BSrE — Indonesia’s national certificate authority for electronic signatures. A signature that is merely cryptographic is worthless here; it has to be a signature a state auditor will accept. That pushes a lot of design decisions upstream: documents become immutable artefacts early, and every subsequent action is an event attached to them rather than an edit.
