SiapDOK (PT Telekonsul Digital Indonesia) is a platform engaged in the Hospitals & Healthcare sector which has been developed since 2020.
This application connects patients and quality doctors in Hospitals with the advantage of teleconsultation features that make your health consultation services easier.
What I worked on
This was built during COVID, when putting a patient and a doctor in the same room stopped being reasonable. The shape is familiar from Halodoc: a patient books a consultation, meets the doctor over video, and the prescription that comes out of it is delivered to their home.
The consultation is the visible half and the easier one. The prescription is where the system stops being software. What a consultation produces has to be valid, attributable to the doctor who issued it, and then handed to a courier and carried to a physical address. That path crosses from a video call into a document into a delivery, and every handover is somewhere a sick patient can end up with nothing.
Notes
Healthcare video is not a video problem, it is a scheduling and identity problem with video attached. Self-hosting Jitsi rather than renting a room provider was the right call for a market where data residency matters and per-minute pricing does not survive contact with a public hospital’s budget.
